My 2022 research output is about life long body size and risk of breast cancer, published in BMC Cancer. This is an interesting topic because of its complexity that covers nearly every issue that you can encounter in a research project in life course medicine.
Adipose tissues interfere with oestrogen levels in women in different ways, and this interference is thought to affect breast cancer risk. However, the life-long risk of breast cancer among obese children is somewhat unexpected.
I produced a short Youtube video explaining this topic. It should be particularly useful for those who are interested in body size or in breast cancer.
